Are you afraid of anyone? Are you afraid of Russia? China? Iran? North Korea? Donald Trump? Kamala Harris? The villain lurking in the dark shadows in the city at night?
Is that fear rational?
We are constantly bombarded by electronic vibrations trying to persuade us to be afraid. It can’t help but sink in.
But, I’m telling you, you don’t have any enemies!
Does that mean there isn’t evil in the world? No, there is. But that evil is based on ignorance, not malice.
There is so much killing going on in the world right now. It is getting worse. We have to stop the madness. More killing will not make it better. It’s one of the reasons I started writing this blog. We have the power to destroy civilization. Unless we change course, some idiot will make a mistake that is not reversible.
Making you afraid is big business. Many people are getting rich off of making you be afraid. Eisenhower saw it and tried to warn us. Smedley Butler saw it from the inside. ‘War is a racket’, he said.
99.99% of the people on this planet just want to live in peace. And if they understand they are a witness to creation, they want to participate in the glorious struggle we call existence. To experience true love, to experience bringing another life into existence. You can’t help but be in awe.
So, what can you do? You have to love your ‘enemies’. It’s what Jesus preached. Unfortunately, I’ve never met a Christian who really understands what this means. I’m not trying to bash Christianity, but it is one of their foundational beliefs. They talk a good game, but, their hearts are filled with hate. How many people have been slaughtered throughout history by Christians?
They don’t really understand. The EGO gets in the way. We think we are separate entities. That is an illusion. We are all connected. You couldn’t exist for a microsecond separated from this reality. When you can truly understand this concept deep in your core, you will realize it’s impossible to have enemies.
