This idea of a ‘messiah’ has been around for a long time. It appears to have its roots in the Jewish religion although it was not thought of as something supernatural like it is today. The Jewish messiah would be a descendant of King David to save the Jewish people. So, that messiah seems to have limited scope.
The Christian messiah, on the other hand, is some supernatural being, the Son of God, with supernatural powers ushering in a messianic age where everything will be perfect.
One of the things that’s interesting about religion is that no two people on the planet have the same idea about ANY aspect of their religion. Oh, they may agree on general terms and definitions, but once you get to the details, that’s where thoughts diverge.
How anyone can still really believe in this fantasy shows the depths of their brainwashing. Oh, we all want to live in the paradise of our imagination but the real paradise is happening right now in the world of reason. You’re missing out on the knowledge that you are a WITNESS TO CREATION happening right before your very eyes.
If you try to imagine the arrival of the messiah, you cannot imagine everyone accepting her. Even if they exhibited supernatural powers, would you believe it? How many would say it’s not their messiah, especially if the messiah was the wrong gender, color or species! The fact of the matter is there is a personal messiah and it’s within you! You just have to understand the true nature of reality.
